Everyone knows it, everyone loves it: a flower meadow in summer. An ocean out of bright colours and filigree forms. A paradise for countless animals. Some live in the underground, some in the thicket of blades of grass. However the meadow is nothing like a peaceful place. On looking and hearing closer you discover the permanent wild fight for the colourful living space. One of its inhabitant belongs to the species-rich insect order: the beetle. Because of its very different lifestyle they are involved in various processes in and upon land. It is a fight for the existance and maintenance of balance which is not visible for humans.
