Kathleen Schroeter is working since 2007 for the 'Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft'. Starting with organisation of international fairs for Fraunhofer HHI's Image Processing Department, she changed in 2009 to the inhouse consulting area of Fraunhofer and helped the 'Fraunhofer-Marketing-Netzwerk' to build new structures under a new project management in Berlin. Finishing as the Project Co-ordinator she moved on to Fraunhofer's newly formed '3D Innovation Center' as its Executive Manager in early 2011.
Earlier she worked in the field of Regional Broadcasting in Berlin, Germany and Event Management in Sydney, Australia.

Abstract

The work in the 3D Innovation Center is characterized by the close cooperation of all stakeholders in the 3D value chain. To bring the creative minds and technical new thinkers together, is probably the main task -new solutions can only be found together. This goal resulted in the cooperation with the Beyond Festival in 2012 and 2013 - Ludger Pfanz and his team are exactly the thought leaders who this market needs. The 3D family is so small that it is clear to work swiftly across national borders with experts. The short paper gives an overview of the highlights of the work in the last and thus in the first two years since ​​the 3D Innovation Center exists. The subsequent panel discussion draws on the focus of the lectures and dedicated to the future of 3D media.

Kathleen Schröter is head of the jury for the short film and documentary film competition at the BEYOND Film Festival 2013.
